Lunina was founded to bring this craft to homes across the United States — not as a reproduction or an imitation, but as the real thing. Each piece ships from our base in Los Angeles, California, directly from the hands that made it.
The Craft
Three Traditions
Tradition 01
Ironwork
Our ironworkers have spent decades mastering the forge. Every frame, ring, and bracket is hand-shaped from raw iron rod — bent, welded, and finished by hand. No two pieces are identical. The slight irregularities are not flaws; they are the signature of the maker.
Tradition 02
Filigree
Filigree is the art of shaping fine wire into intricate patterns. Our artisans draw on centuries of Moorish and colonial Mexican tradition to create the delicate geometric forms that define Lunina's lanterns and sconces. Each panel can take days to complete.
Tradition 03
Glass
Our glass artisans hand-blow, hand-press, and hand-cut every glass element. From the smooth amber globes of our chandeliers to the jewel-toned stained glass of our Moroccan lanterns, each piece of glass is shaped by breath and hands — never by machine.
